Monday Sector Laggards: Energy, Technology & Communications

The worst performing sector as of midday Monday is the Energy sector, showing a 3.4% loss. Within that group,
Newfield Exploration
(NYSE: NFX) and ONEOK (NYSE: OKE) are two large stocks that are lagging, showing a loss of 7.1% and 6.4%, respectively. Among energy ETFs, one ETF following the sector is the Energy Select Sector SPDR ETF (AMEX: XLE), which is down 2.8% on the day, and down 6.24% year-to-date.
